2014 Banff Mahamudra Retreat and Pilgrimage

This past year has been a special one for Nalandabodhi, with the Canadian Open Retreat, a Pilgrimage to Nepal, and the upcoming annual Sangha Retreat all providing opportunities to bring us together with our Teacher, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and with our Nalandabodhi Teachers, as well as to come together as a sangha.

This fall, there is also very special event:
2014 Banff Mahamudra Retreat and Pilgrimage

The Retreat will be held in the beautiful town of Banff, Alberta, Canada, home of the sacred Sadhana of Mahamudra (The Joyous Dance of the Amrita of Great Bliss) composed by Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche.

Time has been allotted for intensive Sadhana of Mahamudra practice, as well as opportunities to visit and pay homage at a number of sacred locations suggested by our beloved teacher: Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, the Columbia Ice Field and Sulphur Mountain.

This retreat is restricted to students of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche who have completed Mahamudra Shamatha according to the Nalandabodhi Path of Meditation and who are up-to-date date members of Nalandabodhi.
